The Global Difference
Our environmental policy is the core driver of our environmental management system. Our environmental policy, objectives and targets are based on our activity as an electronics recycling, refurbishment, asset recovery and reuse facility. Our service redirects used electronic equipment and components, and associated solid waste streams to keep them out of landfills. We commit to comply with applicable legal and other requirements, to minimize our impact on the environment and to reduce pollution where possible.
GCP adheres to a Zero Landfill Policy whereby we recycle solid and e-waste that we generate the same as we do for our external business clients.
In concert with our business model of continual improvement, where our operational methods and resources will permit us to further reduce our impact on the environment, we will take reasonable steps to implement such improvements and include them in our environmental controls. In doing so, we will take into consideration the view of interested parties.
Our objectives and targets include expanding our customer base as well as the scope of our service to further divert the amount of electronic and solid wastes that would otherwise be disposed of to a landfill. As we continue to provide an environmental stewardship alternative to business and consumers, we intend to operate as a Class D recycling facility to increase capability of extracting valuable components from these waste streams.
